It is now mandatory that all cadets and staff will recieve basic first aid training.

The ACO provides initially the 'Heart Start' Course provided by the british heart foundation.

After that the cadets can futher their training by taking part in Youth First Aid and also Activity First Aid both provided by St John Ambulance. 

Hopefully the cadets will never need to put their first aid training to use but if they ever need to they can do so knowing they are confident in what they do. They will have the oppoutunity to take part in an annual first aid competion. Or as some cadets found on camp at RAF Waddington they were able to take part in a full casualty simulation of a 'downed aircraft' with the Royal Air Force (Pictured below).
