Classroom training forms part of the syllabus for cadets.  Cadets will earn qualifications equivalent to GCSEs just for

attending the squadron regularly.

The main qualification cadets can obtain in a BTEC in Aviation Studies.  This involves studying aviation related subjects and sitting exams in relation to those.  There are five levels, as detailed below:
